Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Each member of our treatment team is a registered assistant, and our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.

Melanie

Office Manager

My name is Melanie Dustin and I am thrilled to be able to work in such a dynamic practice with a team of professionals who are here to serve you. My husband and I have moved to Cedar City and love it so much we plan to retire here. We have six children and nine grandchildren. Dr. Anderton is a perfectionist about your teeth and will give you a spectacular smile when your treatment is complete. The front office girls are anxious to expedite your scheduling and payments. The back office girls are great at making you comfortable and keeping your appointments as concise as possible. We offer interest free financing for your orthodontic treatment and even bill your insurance as a courtesy. My name is Mackenzie but I like to go by Kenzie. I'm currently going to Southern Utah University. I am majoring in business. I never thought that I would work at an orthodontics practice. When the opportunity presented itself, I took it and I'm so glad I did! I enjoy working for Dr. Anderton as a receptionist. You will see me at the front desk and throughout the office, answering phones and scheduling your appointments! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask me. My name is Amanda and I love working for Dr. Anderton as a receptionist. I'm 19 and in my sophomore year of college at Southern Utah University. I am majoring in Criminal Justice and Psychology and enjoy every minute of it. You will see me at the front desk and around the office answering phones, scheduling your appointments, and taking an occasional x-ray! Our staff will strive to make each of your visits to our office as comfortable and fun as possible! If you have any questions, feel free to ask. It will be a pleasure serving you!

Back Office Coordinator/Assistant

Hi, my name is Alecia Jones. I have been an Orthodontic Assistant for 7 years and have loved every year. I have worked with a few other orthodontists in those years, and none of them have had such a great atmosphere and working experience as Dr. Anderton. I moved to Cedar City 2 years ago from Salt Lake City. I graduated in 1998 from Jordan High School. I have two cute, fun boys ages 7 and 4, and a wonderful husband that I have been married to for 9 years. I am so excited to work with you during your orthodontic treatment, and to make it as fun as possible

Hi! My name is Mandi Thayer and I have been with Dr. Anderton since January 2009. I was born and raised in Delta and I loved every minute. After I graduated High School in 2003, I attended Evans Hairstyling College in Orem and shortly after moved to Richfield and switched careers and began working in the dental field which I love! That is where I met my husband Ben, we have one little boy, Ryker, who is our world. We moved to Cedar City in April 2008 and are holding on for the ride we call life. I have worked in General/Pediatric Dentistry for two years and I have been an Orthodontic Assistant for the past three years and I’m excited and look forward to helping all of our patients achieve a rockin’ smile and hope to have some fun getting there!

For 2 years I attended Utah Valley University and next year I will graduate from Dixie in Dental Hygiene. I have been an assistant for two and a half years now. I love what I do!
